The Wirraglen Support Team

We believe that every kid is unique in their own way, and because of

that, having the opportunity to offer a good education through

home-schooling is great to ensure that every Australian kid can have

their needs met to enable their growth and development.

Moved by this belief, in 2008 a small group of parents and volunteers

began renting the Wirraglen Scout Camp in Highfields once a week

for meetups to give support to our community and help families to home-educate their young ones.

Since then we have been able to give support with registering, reporting and educational advice to hundreds of Queensland families with kids from 5 to 17 years of age. We are proud of our achievements and nothing brings us more joy than the happiness of the families that work with us.

To ensure that the families are not alone during this process we conduct meet-ups on a regular basis so we can create a support network. Due to the Covid epidemic, WSG transferred its meetings to local parks in Highfields and Toowoomba, and this arrangement continues to this day.

We want to welcome you to our group and don't hesitate to get in touch!
